## Spatial Data, Operationalized

GeoCube fuses geospatial, operational, vendor, and open-source data into a single analytics environment, giving federal leaders real-time situational awareness, predictive insight, and the coordination they need to act faster.

- A configurable, cloud-native platform that adapts to each agency's mission
- Real-time fusion across federal, vendor, sensor, and crowd-sourced data
- Currently supporting FEMA's NBEOC, scalable across any DHS enterprise

## Client Result
### Proof Points

<!-- client-result -->
<!-- client: FEMA OB3I | Active Engagement -->

GeoCube supports FEMA's Office of Business, Industry, and Infrastructure Integration (OB3I), monitoring disaster impacts before, during, and after events to drive faster decisions on resource allocation and partner coordination.

- **Multi-event**: operational support including Western Alaska coastal flooding and Hurricane Erin response analysis
- **Cross-vendor**: standardizes datasets regardless of source, structure, or format
- **FEMA**: supports agency's National Business Emergency Operations Center

## The Challenge
### Turning Data Chaos into Decisions

Federal agencies juggle agency, vendor, sensor, social, and open-source data flows every day. Disparate formats and rigid tools leave leaders without the visibility to anticipate threats and coordinate response.

<!-- cards columns=3 -->
- **Disparate Sources** (icon: FaDatabase): Federal, vendor, sensor, social, and open-source data trapped in siloed formats.
- **Limited Customization** (icon: FaSearch): Off-the-shelf tools can't tailor analytics to mission-specific questions.
- **No Common Picture** (icon: FaEye): Without a unified environment, leaders lack the visibility to coordinate action.

## Platform Capabilities
### Spatial as a BI Dimension

GeoCube treats spatial data as a business-intelligence dimension, fusing federal, private, vendor, and social data into a unified spatial cube for cross-cutting analysis.

GeoCube combines a governed DuckLake data lake, GizmoSQL-accessible geospatial layers, and mission dashboards so analysts can query, fuse, and visualize without rebuilding pipelines for every event.

<!-- cards columns=2 -->
- **Real-Time Ingestion & Fusion** (icon: FaBolt): Geospatial layers, sensor feeds, incident reports, weather forecasts, and social signals, ingested and aligned in near real time.
- **Mission-Tailored Analytics** (icon: FaCogs): Models built and validated in close collaboration with agency stakeholders, not pulled from a generic catalog.
- **Interactive Dashboards** (icon: FaChartLine): Visualizations, geospatial overlays, and alerts for decision-makers and field operators alike.
- **Secure & Interoperable** (icon: FaShieldAlt): Cloud-native architecture aligned with DHS IT standards for secure cross-agency sharing.

## Analytics Core
### Operational Questions, Answered

GeoCube starts with the questions your mission needs answered and engineers analytics that deliver clear, repeatable, defensible insight, from data collection to decision.

<!-- cards columns=3 -->
- **Question-Driven Models** (icon: FaBullseye): Every model begins with a real operational question, not a model in search of a use case.
- **Trusted Data Foundation** (icon: FaLayerGroup): A layered refinement process turns raw data into validated, analysis-ready datasets every team can rely on.
- **Advanced Techniques** (icon: FaFlask): Geospatial overlays, time-series analysis, statistical trend detection, and rule-based alerts tailored to each mission.

## Governance
### Models You Can Trust

Analytics are governed end-to-end so models stay technically sound, operationally relevant, and aligned with evolving agency priorities.

<!-- cards columns=3 -->
- **Brainstorm & Prioritize** (icon: FaProjectDiagram): Stakeholders and data scientists co-prioritize models based on impact and feasibility.
- **Develop & API-Enable** (icon: FaRobot): Models built, reviewed for compliance, and exposed as secure APIs for integration with dashboards and decision tools.
- **Catalog & Refine** (icon: FaSitemap): A living model catalog supports discovery, reuse, and continuous improvement.

## Proven in the Field
### Real-World Impact at FEMA

During the Western Alaska coastal flooding event, FEMA needed to understand how storm surge was affecting remote communities, fast. The data existed, but it was scattered: community inventories, economic indicators, lifeline data, and hazard footprints, each in a different format from a different vendor.

GeoCube ingested and standardized all of it. Through the Analytics Core, it surfaced where flooded communities overlapped with limited access to food, fuel, transportation, and essential services, giving FEMA leadership a clear, data-driven view of community-level impacts to prioritize deployments and partner coordination.

<!-- cards columns=2 -->
- **Cross-Dataset Fusion** (icon: FaGlobeAmericas): Standardizes disparate datasets and aligns them spatially against hazard impacts.
- **Predictive & Proactive** (icon: FaSyncAlt): Evolving from situational awareness to forecasting operational pressures and emerging risks.
